Fire Mitigation is under way once again this year in North Star. This year the main focus is on the roads, that they are passable for the fire protection equipment that will be coming into North Star in the event of a wild fire.  2007 is the final year for the assessment, there are several lot owners that have not paid.  We will have a mailing  going out to all members with statements.  Lets all get current so me may continue creating the best defensible space in the county. Be sure to read the articles that have been published in the newsletters for a very in depth explanation of what and how we used this special assessment. In addition there is the information about the grant money that The North Star Owner's Association is receiving to continue this project.
